Valerie is a 6 year-old girl from Waukesha who is sweet as can be and loves all things rainbows and glitter. Valerie was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma in September of 2018. Since that time she has undergone many tests, chemo sessions and a major abdominal surgery to remove a portion of the tumor from her kidney. She has a long road of treatment ahead, and we were so excited to create this uplifting space for her to heal in. When we first asked Valerie what her favorite color was, she immediately responded, "GLITTER!!!" We couldn't help but incorporate her very own, sparkly costume filled dress up corner. We even had the walls transformed with a glittery mural with unicorns and rainbows. From unicorns and butterflies to rainbows and barbies, we wanted to fill Valerie's room with all of her favorite things. Welcome to your new room Valerie!
