We come from humble beginnings and now we are recruiting those who want to help us build our organization and take Designing Dreams to the next level. Each member of the Board of Advisors is required to serve on either the Marketing & Fundraising Committee or the Program & Expansion Committee.
About you: You are a fun-loving, passionate, enthusiastic, mission-driven young professional looking to make a difference, build friendships, and contribute to our mission in a meaningful way. You are eager to bring your ideas, energy, (and favorite cocktail!) to a startup non-profit organization with a bright future.
The Program & Expansion Committee is responsible for voting on bedroom applicants, coordinating bedroom re-designs, managing key programmatic partnerships, developing Designing Dreams expansion plan to reach children beyond our current geographical footprint, and additional programmatic projects as it relates to the strategic plan.
Our Marketing Committee is responsible for managing social media, creating content, owning the photo/video library, writing blog posts, managing donor acknowledgement letters, coordinating digital fundraising campaigns, creating program and fundraising related marketing material, planning events, and additional projects as it relates to our strategic plan.
